Arkel provided all design and engineering for the construction of a syrup plant to initially process 5,000 tons of sugarcane per day and co-generate 7.5 MW of electricity. A major portion of the facility was designed for 10,000 tons cane per day to accommodate the addition of an ethanol distillery in the future.
