Sugar Not Just Sugar Anymore

Arkel provided the detailed engineering for the installation of a new mill tandem for the 1994 crop and the overall development of the master plan for the complete expansion to 15,000 tons cane per day. In addition, Arkel provided design and detailed engineering and pattern drawings for the 48” x 84” mill tandem fabricated by Amite Foundry and Machine, Inc.

Further, Arkel provided engineering services for a number of projects between 1994 and 2004, including the addition of an evaporator station, cane table, vacuum pan, cooling tower sump system, boiler structure, bagasse handling system, and a sugar warehouse.
