Spring of 2005 approached and Base Operations at Camp Taqaddum knew with the impending summer and existing power assets they needed generation capacity – and quickly. Arkel entered in to a lease – supply – install contract with the military to have equipment on ground and fully mission capable in 30 days.

Arkel immediately ordered 10 generation units (6 x 250 kva, 4 x 550 kva). Immediately dispatching personnel to Dubai, Arkel negotiated the airfreight of the units into Taqaddum via our own chartered Il 76s. In less than thirty days we had units up and running for many vital areas of the large base. Arkel provided the complete solution from purchasing to delivery for the logistic supply chain.
