Arkel's client was contracted to USAID to provide sensitive, high-level support for the U.S. / Iraqi efforts to stabilize and improve the economy of post-Saddam Iraq.  The client chose Arkel to design, build, operate, and maintain its man-camp in FOB Blackhawk located within Baghdad's International Zone, just minutes away from the U.S. Embassy housed in the former regime's Presidential Palace.

 Arkel's contract required the rapid construction and furnishing of housing units to accommodate the client's team.  Once construction was complete, Arkel provided full camp support services including:

• Warranty service
• High-speed internet access (both LAN & WiFi)
• Housekeeping
• Power-generation
• Laundry services
• Potable & non-potable water delivery
• Trash removal
• Sewage removal
• Pest / vector control
• Grounds-keeping

The demands of the client's mission in Iraq routinely resulted in its personnel having to be available to work "in-synch" with numerous individuals, agencies, and organizations around the world, spanning multiple time zones.  In order to support the client's working schedule, Arkel's camp support services team was on-duty and on-call 24-hours per day, 7-days per week.

We met or exceeded all of the client's expectations.
